Mike graduated from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Mike joined Hansen Plahm & Company in 1975 after working for a large international firm. Mike is responsible for the firm’s tax and client service departments.

Mike specializes in individual and small business taxation. He works closely with his clients on estate and personal financial planning matters. Mike resides on the Board of Directors for the Small Business Administration.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.

Mike resides in Darien with his wife Jane. They have three children. His outside interests include golf and tennis.
